Optimist Youth Appreciation Week Sparks Fun For Kids

The UW-Whitewater/Community Optimist Club invites families and their kids to come out for two fun activities. The Optimist club will host a free movie and free bowling night in honor of Youth Appreciation Week in mid-November.

On Saturday, November 10, there will be a free movie, Sherlock Gnomes, showing at the Cinemas of Whitewater at 10:00 am. Later in the week, the Optimist Club will offer free bowling at Hawk Bowl on Wednesday, November 14, starting at 4:00 pm.

Concessions will be available for purchase at both locations, so no carry-in snacks or beverages are allowed.  Chaperones will be provided at both events.
