Maribel Yessenia Ruiz Flores, 36, of Whitewater entered eternal rest Wednesday, January 31, 2018.

Maribel was born in Morelos, Mexico on June 17, 1981, to Guadalupe Flores Rocha and Ramiro Ruiz Flores.

Mrs. Ruiz Flores studied at Secundaria Tecnica 33 and graduated as valedictorian of her class as a medical secretary in 1998.

Maribel had two daughters Brittany (16) and Evelyn (14) with her childhood love. She is survived by her daughters, parents, siblings, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and close friends.

Maribel’s passion was to spend as much time as possible with her family, especially attending school events with her daughters, reading, watching Netflix, gardening, but most importantly making sure everyone around her was always smiling.

Funeral services will be held at United Methodist Church 145 S Prairie St. in Whitewater on Tuesday, February 6th at 6 pm.  A visitation will be held on Tuesday from 5:00 pm until the time of the service at the church.  A visitation will also follow the service at V’s Waterfront Venue LLC (formally known as Rocha’s Waterfront) 292 S Wisconsin St. Whitewater, WI from 7:30 pm to 9:00 pm.

Nitardy Funeral Home of Whitewater is assisting the family.
