Third Annual Bassett House Ladies & Young Ladies Tea Party a Success

The Third Annual Bassett House Ladies & Young Ladies Tea Party on Sunday, May 5, hosted by the Whitewater Federation of Women’s Clubs, was a huge success. The event was sold out, and everyone had a wonderful time. Attendees had their choice of lovely hats to wear. They were treated to scrumptious tea sandwiches and baked desserts, real English tea (the same tea that Queen Elizabeth serves to her guests), and fresh-baked scones with real clotted cream from England.  All these goodies were served on beautiful antique china and enjoyed in the beautiful setting of the historic Bassett House. Mark your calendars now for next year’s tea, which will be held on Sunday, May 3, 2020.  For more information on the Bassett House, check out our website at https://sites.google.com/site/bassetthouseww/bassett-house Like us on Facebook!
