“Get Out” — Tuesday, October 29 at 12:30 p.m., Seniors in the Park

“This is an unnerving, psychological film in a “Twilight Zone”-style vein. A young African-American (Daniel Kaluuya) visits his white girlfriend’s parents for the weekend, where his simmering uneasiness about their reception of him eventually reaches the boiling point. Also stars Madison native Bradley Whitford (“West Wing”). Nominated for Best Picture, Best Actor (Kaluuya); Winner: Best Original Screenplay. This is our Halloween film; Mark will have treats for all!
