Pair of Bald Eagles spotted near Trippe Lake

From Whitewater resident Carol McCormick:

They have been roosting daily in a tree over looking Trippe Lake for about a week. The tree happens to be in my backyard. They occasionally will loop around the lake and then return to roosting. It is my hope they will nest somewhere in the area. It appears that they are a male and female ( female is about 25% larger than the male).

This validates what a great resource Whitewater has in its lakes.
