Little Free Pantry at the Irvin L. Young Memorial Library in need of donations

The Little Free Pantry (LFP) at the Irvin L. Young Memorial Library is nearly empty. Last month the LFP helped a lot of Whitewater citizens who struggle with hunger; all the reserves are now exhausted. If you are in a position to make a donation to help fill the pantry, it would be much appreciated.

Things that are especially needed include noodles and pasta sauce, canned meat and vegetables, boxes of cereal, toothbrushes and toothpaste, feminine hygiene pads, and laundry detergent—powder or liquid. Everything that gets donated finds a home with someone who really needs it, so please feel free to bring in things that aren’t on that list.

Donations can be left in the basket across from the circulation desk.

Thank you for helping your community members who are having a hard time meeting their basic needs.
