Despite snow, “Brats at the Bank for Tilla” a success

A little snow couldn’t stop the fun Saturday, April 27, as members of WCFP, a nonprofit K9, community fundraising group joined forces with staff at Premier Bank, Whitewater for “Brats at the Bank for K9 Tilla.”  Bank staff and the fundraising group raised nearly $1000 to help the Whitewater Police K9 Unit with training needs which include Bite Suit, Bite Sleeve and Decoys.  Handler Justin Stuppy and K9 Tilla were on hand for kid’s games, face painting, food and fun.

Police K9 Fest will be held at Spring Creek Golf Center Saturday, July 20th

Events include:

  • 5K family/pet fun run
  • 10K run
  • Golf Scramble
  • Poker Run/Pub Crawl
  • Raffles
  • Silent Auction
  • Wayne Road Band, 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.
