Due to weather conditions, all Whitewater schools will have a two-hour delay on Wednesday, February 13, 2019. There will be no morning 4K or early childhood. Breakfast will not be served today. Afternoon 4 K will report at their normal time.

WUSD 4K and Kindergarten Registration Information

Calling all 2019-2020 4K and Kindergarten students
(coming from outside our current Whitewater 4K programs)!

MARK YOUR CALENDARS: Our 4K and Kindergarten registration is coming up on February 13 from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM and 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM at the Central Office (419 S. Elizabeth Street, Whitewater, WI).

4K REGISTRATION REMINDERS:

  • A child must be 4 years old by September 1st, there is no early entrance allowed into 4K
  • Students will be assigned to the school of which they reside.
  • AM and PM preference will be given on a first come first serve basis
  • The expectation is that the enrolled student is “potty” trained
  • A 4K student may attend 4K for one year
  • $10.00 Registration Fee will be collected
  • 4K is part of the elementary school and good attendance is important. If your child will be missing, you must call the attendance office by 8:20 AM
    • Please Bring: Birth Certificate, Immunization records, registration packet, and registration fee

KINDERGARTEN REGISTRATION REMINDERS:

  • Child must be 5 years old by September 1st
  • $20.00 Registration Fee will be collected
  • Please Bring:

W3 looking for board members and volunteers

Working for Whitewater’s Wellness is looking for passionate volunteers interested in helping to make our community members live longer, happier, healthier lives. W3 is currently seeking TWO new board members. If you enjoy gardens, health and fitness, active living, marketing, or just making a difference, you will fit right in. ***Update *** Due to weather conditions, all WWUSD schools will be CLOSED on Tuesday, February 12. 2019.  All after-school events are canceled.

Southern Lakes Anthology selects 8 WMS students’ work

The Regional Judging for Southern Lakes Anthology was completed on January 29 in Elkhorn. Again this year, Whitewater Middle School was very well represented at this event having eight of our submitted middle school entries chosen for publication. These students had their entries selected and were identified as Regional Winners: Monica Juette, Ava Nygren, Ashlynn Prah, Alex Clarksen, Ghati Binagi, Nola Coburn, Leah Newman, Lucy Troxel, and Cosette Wildermuth-Breitzman. Great job and congratulations to all of the students whose work was selected. You make us very proud!
