Common Council fails to pass ordinance limiting gatherings

At a 2-3/4 hour special meeting on Wednesday evening, a straw poll of Common Council members of 5-1 indicated a lack of interest in adopting a pandemic-related ordinance limiting the size of gatherings that they had requested to be drafted at the September 1 regular meeting.
