WHS Soccer draws vs Beloit Memorial

Article by Coach McCrea

On Monday, April 22 Whitewater Girls’ Soccer hosted a non-conference match against Beloit Memorial concluding with a 0-0 contest.

On a very cold and rainy evening Whitewater Girls’ Soccer hosted the Clinton Cougars in Rock Valley Conference play and finished the contest with a 10 – 0 win allowing the Whippets to improve to 3-2 in RVC play and 4-6-2 overall.

In spite of miserable weather the Whippets played well during both halves and with a number of varying roster combinations. The young Cougars played well and demonstrated good sportsmanship in spite of the lopsided Whippet victory. In short, Senior Meikayla Korf finished the game with three goals, followed by Jaden Henneman (2), Sierra Brunner (1), Jordyn Korf (1), Carmen Kraayvanger (1), Nicole Sedmak (1) and Brianna Zimdars (1). Cora Linos recorded the win in goal with 3 saves.
