Whitewater High School Head Gymnastics Coach

The Whitewater Gymnasts competed in Sectionals at Whitefish Bay High School on Friday, February 19th. The Sectional competition consisted of ten teams including Whitefish Bay, Elkhorn, West Bend East, Jefferson, Valders/Roncalli, Waterford, Port Washington, Nicolet and Shorewood. Out of the ten teams there were approximately 50 competitors on each event.
Whitewater placed 8th, scoring a 112.225. The gymnasts had a very successful meet achieving many personal bests.
Senior Jenna Caldwell completed her final competition with a personal best on the Balance Beam scoring an 8.0 and placing 25th. Jenna also scored a 7.55 on Bars placing 20th, an 8.0 on Vault placing 23rd, and a 30.75 in the All-Around placing 17th.
Halee Peters placed 24th on Floor and Bars scoring a 7.8 on Floor and a 7.4 on Bars. Halee also placed 30th on Vault scoring a 7.825.
Caleigh Yang scored a 7.0 on Beam and a 7.35 on Vault.
Brenda Aguilar scored a 7.25 on Vault and a 6.9 on Floor.
Lauren Buhler and Isabelle Dieter both competed in their first Varsity competition and did a fantastic job. Lauren scored a personal best on Floor and Bars scoring a 6.1 on Floor and a 4.7 on Bars. Isabelle Dieter scored a 6.85 on Vault!
The Whippets have completed their successful season, and the Wisconsin State Gymnastics Tournament for Division two will be held on February 27th, at Performance Elite Gymnastics, in La Crosse.
