Whippets Lose Close Game, Honor Coach Judy Harms

The Whitewater Girls’ Basketball Team played a home game against Big Foot on Tuesday, November 23. It was a slow start for the Whippets, starting the game with a 12 point deficit.

Slowly, the girls worked themselves back into the game going into the second half down by 9 points, and tying it up with 10 minutes left in the game.

Unfortunately, they came up short 40-42.

Calli Grosinske led the team in scoring with 12 points, followed by Danielle DePorter with 10, and Mayte Navejas with 8.

The Whippets also honored retired Coach Judy Harms at halftime for her recent induction into the Wisconsin Basketball Coaches Association Hall of Fame. Harms was the coach of the 2015 State Championship Team, and many of her former players were in attendance.
