UW-W Baseball to Host NCAA Regional Starting Friday, 5/17

The No. 12 ranked University of Wisconsin-Whitewater baseball team will make its 12th straight appearance in the NCAA Division III Tournament and host the four-team Whitewater, Wisconsin Regional starting this Friday at Prucha Field at James B. Miller Stadium.
 
The second-seeded Warhawks (34-10 overall) will face No. 3 seed North Central (Ill.) in their opening game Friday at 3 p.m. No. 1 seed Webster (Mo.) will take on fourth-seeded Bethany Lutheran (Minn.) to open the day at 11 a.m. UW-Whitewater earned a Pool “C”, or at-large, bid for its 22nd appearance in the national tournament.

11 a.m. – Game 1 – Webster vs. Bethany Lutheran
3 p.m. – Game 2 – UW-Whitewater vs. North Central
 
Saturday, May 18:
11 a.m. – Game 3 – Winner of Game 1 vs. Winner of Game 2
3 p.m. – Game 4 – Loser of Game 1 vs. Loser of Game 2
6 p.m. – Game 5 – Winner of Game 4 vs. Loser of Game 3
 
Sunday, May 19:
12 p.m. – Game 6 – Winner of Game 3 vs. Winner of Game 5
4 p.m. – Game 7 – Winner of Game 6 vs. Loser of Game 6 (if necessary)
