Robotics Team Welcomes New Members for Summer

Whitewater High School’s FIRST Robotics Competition Team #6574 Ferradermis invites any students interested in joining the team for the 2022-2023 school year to join us in the high school library at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 26, with a parent or guardian, to learn about opportunities to work with the team this summer. This invitation is open to current WHS students as well as incoming freshmen!

Ferradermis members will be traveling to 3 single-day off-season competitions this summer in Kettle Moraine, Manitowoc, and Mukwonago. Joining the team on one or more of these trips is a great way for new members to experience the excitement of FIRST Robotics and learn more about what an actual competition feels like. In addition, new members are welcome to join us for summer training meetings.

What skills do you need before joining the team? None! Current Ferradermis members and their mentors will help you learn everything you need to know.

Is it all about the robot? Nope! There are roles on the team for people with all sorts of interests including business, graphics, community service, public speaking, writing, electronics, programming, CAD, and manufacturing.

Come join us on May 26 to learn more!
