Robert Ray “Bob” Morrow, 85, of Whitewater, Wisconsin passed away surrounded by family on Wednesday, January 17.

Bob was born on July 16, 1932, in Town of Troy, Wisconsin the son of Willard & Pearl (Holzworth) Morrow. He was the second youngest of nine children.

Bob married Nancy Paynter Morrow on January 6, 1968.  Bob graduated from Jefferson High School in 1950. After graduation, he moved to Whitewater to work at Art Cummings Pontiac Dealership. On January 15, 1957, he started work at Wisconsin Energy Company until he retired 37 years later. While working at Wisconsin Energy Company, Bob obtained an Associate Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Gateway Technical School in Racine. Bob was a Whitewater Volunteer Fireman for 33 years. He was on the Board of Directors for the Whitewater Red Cross and the Whitewater Country Club for several years. He volunteered as a Boy Scout Master for Troop 138 in Whitewater. Bob loved hunting, golf, the Packers, the Badgers and the Brewers.

Bob is survived by his wife Nancy and their three children, Meredith McCord of Portland, OR, Jim (Teri) McCord of Portland, OR, and COL Joseph (Susan) Morrow currently stationed at Watervliet Arsenal NY; two granddaughters, Brittany (Matt) Reader, Krista McCord, and one great-grandchild, Annabelle Reader and several nieces and nephews. Bob was preceded in death by his parents Willard and Pearl (Holzworth) Morrow, and all of his siblings, Carol (Howard) Carnes, Lyle Morrow, Elaine (Hine) Schnitger, Lucille (Laverne) Glaznap, Joyce (Melvin) Streich, Ione (Allen)Krieser, Bill Morrow, and Duane (Janet) Morrow. Visitation will be from 9:30 until 11:00 AM and Funeral Services will follow at First English Lutheran Church in Whitewater on Saturday, January 20. Bob will be laid to rest at Hillside Cemetery in Whitewater on Monday, January 22 at 11:00 AM.
