Patricia Ann Welch, 76, of Lima Center passed away on September 21, 2018.

She was born on April 26, 1942, in Chicago, Illinois to Frank and Helen (Reinhardt) Bellgrau.  Patricia grew up on her family’s farm in Lake Zurich, Illinois and graduated from Grayslake High School in 1960.

On July 29, 1961, Patricia married Frank Welch in Mundelein, Illinois and together they had two sons and a daughter.  They moved to their farm in Lima Center in 1973.

Patricia worked on their family farm and then later became a nurse’s assistant at Fairhaven Assisted Living in Whitewater, Wisconsin.

Patricia enjoyed horses, baking homemade bread, sewing, Christmas trees, and her dogs.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Helen (Reinhardt) Bellgrau.

Patricia is survived by her husband, Frank; sons, Bryan and Dwayne; daughter, Jennifer (Brett) Laucke; brother, Frank (Ruthland) Bellgrau; and sister, Sue (Ron) Mateja.

In honor of Patricia, a memorial service will be held on Friday, Sept. 28, 2018, at Nitardy Funeral Home, 550 N. Newcomb St., Whitewater, WI 53190 at 6 P.M. with visitation prior from 4 P.M. until time of service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 225 N. Michigan Ave., Fl. 17, Chicago, IL 60601.
