On Friday, June 14, 2019, Annette Eachor Setka, 68, passed away peacefully in the company of her daughters, Tanja Edenfield and Monique Wicker, at the latter’s home in Nacogdoches, Texas.

Annette was born in Fort Atkinson on March 16, 1951 to loving parents Francis Eachor and Elizabeth Boyd Eachor. Throughout her childhood and youth, she was a lover of horses and an avid participant in 4-H in Jefferson County.

Annette graduated from Fort Atkinson High School in 1969 and attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Shortly thereafter, she set off to see the world, residing for a time in South Korea and traveling all over Southeast Asia, eventually settling in California, and later, Texas.

Annette will be remembered best for her deep and abiding curiosity of the world in which she lived. She was an autodidact who read voraciously and was eager to share her knowledge with those around her. She was also a woman of profound spiritual conviction, whose faith in God guided her throughout her life.

Annette is survived by her mother, Beth Eachor; her sisters, Nancy Bailey and Linda Floeter and their families; her daughters and sons-in-law: Patricia Setka, Tanja and Wyatt Edenfield, Monique and Mike Wicker, Stella Setka and Ethan Alexander; her 7 grandchildren: Niko Garcia, Nathan Wicker, Colton Wicker, Carter Wicker, Benjamin Edenfield, Vivian Edenfield, and Zelda Alexander; and cousins Bob Stubbs and Sue Wendt and their families.

A memorial service to be held in Whitewater will be planned at a later date.
