Kyle James Koebler, age 35, of Madison, WI passed away June 5, 2019. Born in Rochelle, IL on July 11, 1983 to Vicki Matheny and John Koebler. Kyle served his country in the US Navy aboard the USS Abraham Lincoln from 2003 – 2007.

He went on to a career as a Veterinary Technician after a life long love of animals, and was employed at VCA Veterinary Emergency Services in the Madison Area. Kyle enjoyed playing cards and having a beer with friends. He will be greatly missed by all who loved him.

He will be lovingly remembered by his parents, Vicki Matheny of Madison, WI and John (Tammy) Koebler of Whitewater, WI; brother, Ryan Koebler of Las Cruses, NM; sister, Sarah Koebler of Whitewater, WI; nephews, Ricky and Bowen; many aunts, uncles and cousins; and his cat Lucy, who is a little crazy but loved her anyway. He is predeceased by his brother, Derek Baker; and grandparents, William (Ruth Ann) Matheny and Maurice (Carolyn) Koebler.

Celebration of Life Memorial held Sunday June 23, 2019 from 1:30 pm – 4:30 pm at Starin Park Community Center, 504 W. Starin Rd., Whitewater, WI, with Military Honors at 3:00 PM. Cremation rites accorded. Christenson Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements. Memorials to the family.
