Claudine Henry, 92, of Whitewater, Wisconsin, formerly of Abilene, Texas, passed away on February 24, 2018 at Fairhaven in Whitewater.

She was born on January 29, 1926, to William Jasper and Mary Ann (Herring) Stuteville.

Claudine married Franklin Harold Henry on December 26, 1943, in Albany, Texas. They were happily married for 74 years. Claudine was an award-winning floral designer and dressmaker and worked as a ward clerk at Fairhaven with Franklin in her later years. She enjoyed playing cards, dominos, spending time with family. She was a long time member of Millard Community Church as well as a member of the Red Hat Society.

Claudine is survived by her daughters Gwendolyn Gail Henry, Anita Ann Sartorius and Marie (David) Lanell Brei; son-in-laws Chuck “Bear” Janulewicz and David Otto Brei; grand-children Candi (James) Jean Julson, Cindi (Jerry) Sue Principe, Robert (Charlene) Russell Adams, Conni Jo Murphy, Heidi (Chris) Marie Miksanik, William “Billy” (Shelia) Stephan Sartorius, Heather LaVelle Barnett, Sandra Ann Sartorius, Benjamin (Carrie) McGraw Brei, Lindsay Rae Brei and Jacob Jasper Brei as well as numerous nieces, nephews, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

Claudine was preceded in death by her parents William and Mary, brother Clyde, twin sister Claudia, daughter Gloria (Chuck) and her late husband of 74 years, Franklin Henry of Whitewater, Wisconsin.

A memorial service will be held at Fairhaven, 435 W Starin Rd in Whitewater, Wisconsin at 1 pm on Saturday, March 3. Private Burial services will be held at a later date.

The family wishes to extend their gratitude to Fairhaven for their support in her final years.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations are made to Hearthstone Memory Care, 426 W North St, Whitewater, WI 53190.
