Brewers Sweep Dodgers in National League Championship; Heading to first World Series in 44 years

The Milwaukee Brewers on October 15 finished sweeping the Los Angeles Dodgers in the National League Championship. It was sweet revenge after having been swept by the Dodgers in 2025, as they went on to win the World Series for the second consecutive year.

The Brewers won the first two games in Milwaukee, 2-1 and 7-4, followed by 6-2 and 6-4 in Los Angeles. There was no need to play the maximum possible seven games.

It will be at least Saturday before it’s known whether the Brewers’ competitor in the World Series will be the Tampa Bay Rays or the Cleveland Guardians. As of Thursday evening, Cleveland is ahead by two games to one.

The first game of the World Series will be in Milwaukee on Friday, March 23. The series winner will once again be the best of seven games. Tickets are expected to be reserved for season ticket holders, with the general public having to seek tickets on the resale market such as Seat Geek or Stub Hub.
