Discovery/Travel Channel Paranormal legend – John E.L. Tenney will host a lecture at Whitewater Campus – University of Wisconsin this Friday night – October 1st at 7:30PM
Event is open to the student body (free) and to the public ($35 each)
Local historian and psychic/medium Dana Stricker is hosting the event and will offer the opening and discuss how Whitewater has become known as the “Second Salem” in the Paranormal and Witchcraft lore. Tenney will also be joined with his “What’s Up Weirdo?” Podcast co-host Jessica Knapik.

Location: The Hamilton Room @ The James R. Connor University Center University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, 800 Main Street, Whitewater
Special parking available, Vendors will be in the atrium outside the lecture room. Doors open early.

Tenney has been actively involved in the field of anomalistic, conspiratorial and occult research since the mid 1980’s and he has lectured on strange phenomena and folklore since the early 1990’s. He appeals to both skeptics and believers. respect from both believers and skeptics. Greatly regarded in the community, his consultations have included NBC, Fox, SyFy, Huffington Post, and The New York Times.
John E.L. Tenney is an enchanting storyteller, weaving folklore, mythology, and current events in a neat little stack. His first hand accounts and paranormal background, add credibility to his lectures & he has a wealth of knowledge and experiences. The audience will sit back and enjoy a Q&A and lecture, touching on his current trip to a Wisconsin haunted & abandoned asylum and other local phenomena.
