Allison Heckert Named to Division 3 All-Star Team

Allison Heckert of Whitewater High School has been named to the Wisconsin Basketball Coaches Association All-Star Team. Heckert will be a member of the South team for Division 3. The WBCA All-Star games showcase seniors of each division who possess great talent and tremendous character. The WBCA All-Star games started back in 1978 with the purpose of raising funds to help fight against childhood cancer. Since 1978, the WBCA has donated over $2.5 Million to the MACC Fund (Midwest Athletes Against Childhood Cancer) in the effort to combat childhood cancer. When the games started, the success rate of saving a child with cancer was near 10%. Now, with the help of the WBCA All-Star games and many others, the success rate of saving a child is up to around 80%.

Heckert will play in the Division 3 WBCA All-Star Game at Justagame Fieldhouse in Wisconsin Dells on Friday, June 15th, 2018 at 12:30 pm.
