“Schoolhouse Rock, Live!” set to run through July 14

The Whitewater Summer School Playhouse presents: “Schoolhouse Rock, Live!”  Performances are July 12 – 13 at 7 pm and July 14 at 2 pm at the WHS auditorium.  The Emmy Award-winning Saturday morning educational cartoon series and pop culture phenomenon is one of the most popular musicals ever to hit the stage. A generation of American kids grew up singing the catchy tunes that were an integral part of “Schoolhouse Rock.” These animated shorts incorporate songs that illustrate educational subjects such as history, science, multiplication tables and basic grammar. Memorable songs as “Just a Bill,” “Lolly, Lolly, Lolly,” and “Conjunction Junction”.

Directed by Jim McCulloch and Liz Elliott, and choreographed by Lynn Lema,  the talented talented cast and crew include:  Denver Isbell, Azurliz Rodriguez, Audrey Mayer, Morgan Zingsheim, Ella Spear, Willow Vogelzang, Josh Kirley, Lauren Harkness, Nicole Sedmak, Afton Clapper, Caleb Clapper, Stephanie Wence, Ella Willman, Anderson Waelchli, Calvin Baker, Jillian Harkness, Angie McKelvey, Jarvis Porcaro, Myles Morse, Emma Clarksen, Alex Martin, Colin Dugan, Alec Holt, Madison Strickler, Keith Cameron, Aldo Rodriguez, Maggie Jay, Chloe Prince, Ghati Binagi, Gio Anello, Henry Bresser, Lucus Scherer, Weston Lema, Marco Wence, Chris Porcaro, Olive Coburn, Ben McCulloch, Skylar Staebler, Brooke Bazeley, Sophie Mayer, Colin Chenoweth, Betzy Palomec, Nick Kuzoff, Carter Waelchli.
