A commercial shown during the Super Bowl pregame and also during the game was partially shot in Fort Atkinson. Inspirational quotes adapted from Vince Lombardi, the coach who put the Packers on the map, were featured, together with an actor portraying Lombardi. Apparently much of the commercial was filmed in Milwaukee, but Fort’s Cold Spring Design storefront was shown covered with plywood, and it seems that several other Fort locations were also featured. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers received the Lombardi Trophy for their 31-9 victory over the Kansas City Chiefs. Vince Lombardi died in 1970.
