The UW-Whitewater Vocal Jazz Ensemble, under the direction of Dr. Sharri VanAlstine, visited the Music Masters Ensemble class on Monday, February 18th. The Music Masters Ensemble shared one of the songs they are preparing for Solo/Ensemble Festival. The Vocal Jazz Ensemble sang three pieces for our students. The visit finished with a chance to improvise 12-bar blues while “trading fours” with the UW-W students.
