POW Camps in Wisconsin and “Margaret’s War”

Thursday, October 24, 3:00 p.m.

Author Bill Stokes will be discussing his book “Margaret’s War.” Whitewater is near where a German POW camp was located toward the end of WW II, a circumstance that forms the background for Stokes’s novel, and as part of the book’s promotion, the author will be doing readings and programs in as many of the 38 POW camp communities as possible. This program is free and open to everyone.
