United Way’s Holiday Helpers Program Opens Registration for Whitewater Area Families

United Way of Jefferson & North Walworth Counties is excited to announce that registration is now open for its annual Holiday Helpers program, bringing holiday joy and much-needed support to children and families throughout the Whitewater Unified School District.

Thanks to the generosity of community members, businesses and volunteers, Holiday Helpers continues to make the holiday season brighter for local children and families.

This year, United Way hopes to reach even more families, ensuring that every child has something special to celebrate during the holiday season.

Registration is open through November 22, 2026, and is available to families residing within the Whitewater Unified School District. Families must register in advance and select a designated gift pickup time. Gift distribution will take place December 12 and 14.

Community members and businesses are also encouraged to participate by sponsoring children, shopping for gifts or helping spread the word.

“The holidays should be a time of joy, not added financial stress. Holiday Helpers is about neighbors coming together to make sure children in our community feel remembered, valued and celebrated.”

Families interested in registering or individuals wishing to sponsor a child can contact United Way of Jefferson & North Walworth Counties at uwjnwc@gmail.com.–
