American Legion Float Riders Welcome

Post 173 Whitewater American Legion is sponsoring a float (actually a boat generously provided by J&T Marina) for members to ride on during the annual 4th of July parade.

This is a wonderful opportunity for members to be recognized by the community for their military service.

Members interested in participating in the parade by riding on the float, maybe tossing candy to the kids and acknowledging the gratitude of the community for their service to the Nation, should gather at the American Legion Building at 292 S. Wisconsin Street before 9:30 a.m. or at the parade start point near the intersection of Highland and Prince Streets before the parade begins at 10:00 a.m.
