It is almost time for the 13th annual Discover Whitewater Series 5K, Half Marathon, and Half Marathon Teams race!
This year, we are very excited to host our race at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, including having our finish on the 50-yard-line at Perkin’s Stadium Football Field! Post-race activities, facilities, Kids Korral, and more will be available on campus as well. Both races will start on Schwager Drive- maps are linked below for reference.
5K Map Half Marathon Map General Map
Chancellor Corey King will be making opening remarks and he will be accompanied by Super Intendent Samuel Karns. The post-race award ceremony will occur for each category promptly after our top 3 runners finish.
Here is the order of events:
- 6:00 a.m.-7:30 a.m. Packet pick-up
- 7:45 a.m. Opening announcements
- 7:55 a.m. Half Marathon Wheelchair Division Start
- 8:00 a.m. Half Marathon Start
- 8:10 a.m. 5k Wheelchair Division Start
- 8:15 a.m. 5K Start
- 9:00 a.m. Appx. time for 5K Award Ceremony
- 10:00 a.m. Appx. time for Half Marathon Award Ceremony
- 12:00p.m. Course closes
Parking will be available in lots 9 & 11.
