WHS Graduate Nominated for BroadwayWorld Regional Award

Quinn Forrest Masterson (WHS Class of 2010) was nominated for the 2018 BroadwayWorld Minneapolis Awards, presented this year by BroadwayHD! Regional productions, touring shows, and more are all included in the awards, honoring productions which opened between October 1, 2017, through September 30, 2018. Minneapolis local editors set the categories, submit nominees, and now YOU (the public) get to vote for your favorites! Voting will continue through December 31, 2018. Quinn is nominated in the category of BEST ACTOR IN A MUSICAL for his portrayal of Shrek in SHREK The Musical, which ran earlier in 2018 at Black Dirt Theatre in the Minneapolis area.

After graduating from WHS in 2010, Quinn continued exploring theatre at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse where he earned his degree in Theatre Performance and Stage Management. Since graduating, Quinn has worked with theatre companies such as The Old Globe (San Diego, CA), Commonweal Theatre Company (Lanesboro, MN), Black Dirt Theatre, Theatre Coup d’Etat, and the Guthrie in Minneapolis. Quinn is also a speech coach and a member of the theatre directing staff at Park High School in Cottage Grove, MN.
