Coach Judy Harms: “After a sluggish first half, Whippets pull out a win over Beloit Turner 44-31. Whippets only connected for 9 first half points, missing a bundle of lay-ups, and playing a bit out of sync. It didn’t help that we haven’t had a game for 10 days, mixed in a week of exams, guess you could say it was a wakeup call before matching up against McFarland this Friday. Whippets went 1-9 from the charity stripe, but finished strong sinking 12 of 14 free throws the majority of the 2nd half. Three players ended in double figures, Abby Grosinske 13, Allison Heckert 10, and Miranda Reynolds 10.”

Whitewater score by halves: 9-35=44
Beloit Turner by halves:12-19 = 31
