The Whitewater High School Gymnastics team had a great start to their season, placing second at the Jefferson Invitational with a 117.850 and placing sixth at the Janesville Invitational scoring 116.525. Competing at both meets were returning Seniors Co-Captain Sydney Treder, Co-Captain Autumn Lesar, Katherine Staniszewski, and Nicole Tomomitsu. Additional teammates were newcomers, Freshman Trinity Nickels and Anna Ejnik, Sophomore Jenna Caldwell, and Junior Hailey Prager. Highlights of The Jefferson Invitational meet was Trinity Nickels Placing 3rd on Vault with an 8.3. Our next Invitational is Friday, December 14th at 6:00 PM at Elkhorn High School.
