Schilt scored on a single by Cali Kopecky, and then Jenna Pope hit a triple off the fence in left field to score Kopecky. Nataly Benes singled to score Pope, and the Whippets were on their way to a hard fought 9-8 win.
Jenna Pope picked up the win pitching the first four innings, while Cheyenne Bohmann earned the save by pitching the last three innings. Falyn Krahn led all batters with four hits while Sydney Schilt, Cali Kopecky, and Jenna Pope each contributed two hits.
