Whippets cruise to victory against St. Thomas More

The Whitewater Whippet Girls’ Basketball team defeated St. Thomas More 70-17 in their first Regional Game Tuesday night. It was truly a team effort. We had 10 players score! Abby Grosinske led with 14 points followed by Cassidy Laue with 13 and Kacie Carollo with 9. Jocelin Beecroft and Alyssa Schumacher each scored 8 and Jaden Hennaman scored 7. Jocelin Beecroft and Kacie Carollo dominated on defense with 11 steals between them, Beecroft 6, Carollo 5.
