Warhawk Men Second, Women Fifth at WIAC Outdoor Championships

The University of Wisconsin-Whitewater men’s and women’s track and field teams combined to earn seven individual conference titles and one relay title Saturday on the second and final day of the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Outdoor Championships (Presented by Culver’s) at UW-River Falls.

The men finished second overall with 155.50 points, while the women placed fifth with 96.50 points.

Both Warhawk teams begin a week of last chance meets on Friday, May 11, at North Central and UW-La Crosse. Events are slated to begin at 2 p.m. in Naperville, Ill., and at 3 p.m. in La Crosse.
