UW-Whitewater Women’s Basketball Tops 100 Points in Victory

The University of Wisconsin-Whitewater women’s basketball team finished the 2018 calendar year with its regular season non-conference finale Saturday afternoon, besting Methodist (N.C.) 101-36 on the second day of Transylvania’s Pat Deacon Classic in Lexington, Ky.

The Warhawks (7-4 overall) topped 100 points for the 10th time in program history and first time since 2013. The team’s 101 points are tied for the sixth-most in one game in the team record book.

UW-Whitewater’s 65-point margin of victory is the fourth-highest in school history and largest since 1996, when the team bested Rockford (Ill.) by 76 points.
