UW-Whitewater Volleyball Earns NCAA Tournament Bid

The University of Wisconsin-Whitewater volleyball team will make its 26th appearance in the NCAA Division III Championship over the last 27 years this week as it heads to the NCAA Regional at Calvin College in Grand Rapids, Mich.

The Warhawks (24-7 overall) earned a Pool C, or at-large, bid to the national tournament and will face Ohio Northern in the first round this Thursday at 4:30 p.m. Central Time.

The winner of Thursday’s match will face the winner of the Greenville-Calvin match, which is slated for Thursday at 7 p.m.

Thursday, November 8 (all times Eastern)
12:30 p.m. – Wittenberg (23-2) vs Carthage (21-10)
3 p.m. – Hope (25-7) vs DePauw (17-10)
5:30 p.m. – UW-Whitewater (24-7) vs Ohio Northern (22-7)
8 p.m. – Calvin (28-1) vs Greenville (23-10)

Friday, November 9 (all times Eastern)
Wittenberg/Carthage winner vs Hope/DePauw winner at 4:30 p.m.
UW-Whitewater/Ohio Northern winner vs Calvin/Greenville winner at 7 p.m.

Saturday, November 10 (all times Eastern)
Regional Final at 7 p.m.
