The Whitewater Lions show love to “Lakeview Loves”

At last Tuesday’s meeting, the Whitewater Lions Club members donated a car full of individually packaged snacks for the Lakeview Elementary School Lakeview Loves program.  

Lakeview Loves program provides healthy snacks and meals that are often missed on weekends and holiday school vacations.   Lakeview Loves is a free program available to all Lakeview students.  The program is funded solely on donations and grants.  Lakeview Loves currently has 34 kids signed up for this program.  The program also provides daily snacks during the school week to any student that needs one for snack time.  

The bags and boxes of snacks from the Whitewater Lions that will help these kids enjoy this Christmas just a little bit more.
