Comments from Coach Greg Stewart:
“We played well considering we had to play many of our team members up another flight of singles and doubles. We lost a few of our players due to illness and other circumstances. I was really proud of our freshmen and sophomores who won their first match ever in tournament play! Some of the matches featured comeback wins after the players initially fell behind in the first set.”

A special shout-out to WHS Senior Aubrey Ramirez-Mendoza and WHS sophomore Taryn Rothwell. Ramirez-Mendoza had a shoulder injury early in her season, to come back with a strong performance in her subsectional match. Rothwell lost in her subsectional match but finished the season with a 16-6 record at number #1 singles and was named to the second team All Rock Valley Conference Team.
