Swimmers Host Triple Dual

The Whitewater Girls’ Swim Team competed in their last regular season triple dual meet against Platteville/Lancaster and Elkhorn at home on Tuesday, October 19.

The Whippets did not disappoint; we had multiple best times from a number of our swimmers!

In the 200 Medley Relay, Michelle Abarca had her best split of the season with a time of 37.26.

In the 200 Freestyle, Grace Foucault placed 1st with a time of 2:07.22, which is also a best time.

In the 200 IM, Makayla Bazeley placed 1st with a time of 2:22.70, which is also a best time.

In the 50 Freestyle, Brooke Bazeley placed 2nd with a time of 28.16, which is also a best time.

In the 100 Freestyle, Grace placed 1st and Josie Treder had a best time with a 3 second drop.

The Bazeley sisters faced off in the 500 Freestyle! They respectively placed 1st (Makayla) and 2nd (Brooke)!

In the 100 Back, Emerson Dunham went a best time with a 4 second drop.

In the 100 Breaststroke, Josie went a best time with a 3 second drop.

The 400 Freestyle Relay, consisting of Grace, Brooke, Emerson, and Makayla, took 1st.

The 200 Freestyle Relay, consisting of Grace, Josie, Brooke, and Makayla, took 2nd.

We are very proud of our Whippet Swimmers and are looking forward to a couple more best times this weekend at the Platteville Invite!
