Severe Thunderstorm Watch Until 5 a.m. Saturday

The National Weather Service Milwaukee/Sullivan issued a Severe Thunderstorm Watch at 10:30 on Friday evening, continuing until Saturday at 5 a.m. The watch includes Jefferson, Rock and Walworth counties.

Weather hazards expected...

Limited Thunderstorm Risk...with an associated:
Level 1 of 5 Damaging Wind Risk...up to 60 mph.
Level 1 of 5 Large Hail Risk...up to quarter size.

DISCUSSION...

A line of showers and thunderstorms will move across the region
overnight tonight. A few storms could produce locally damaging
wind gusts, mainly west of the Fox River Valley. Gusty winds will
remain possible farther to the south and east, but storms should
gradually weaken with eastward extent.
