Obituary: Roseann J. Baker, 71, of Fort Atkinson

Roseann J. Baker, 71, of Fort Atkinson, passed away on Sunday, January 23, 2022.

Roseann was born on February 19, 1950 and graduated from Whitewater High School in 1969. On May 1, 2000, she married Tim Baker at First English Lutheran Church in Whitewater.

Roseann worked for Fairhaven Senior Services and later worked at Nasco for many years.

Roseann loved spending time with her family and enjoyed being outdoors, taking care of her garden, koi pond and her hummingbirds. She also enjoyed spending time at the Senior Center, quilting and Wii Bowling. She was a very strong-willed woman and overcame many challenges.

Roseann is survived by her husband, Tim Baker of Fort Atkinson; children, Pat (Cathy) Wegner of Whitewater, Paul (LaVonne) Wegner of Fort Atkinson and Penny (Brad) Strohbusch of Fort Atkinson; grandchildren, Anthony Schultz, Makayla Wegner, Pam (Toby) Nordberg, Elizabeth (Joey) Bidlack and Tyler (Sadie) Wegner; great grandchildren, A.J. Warn, Vincent and Maverick Bidlack and a great granddaughter. She is also survived by her brothers, Randy (Donna) Thorne and David (Edna) Leason and her sisters, Debbie Meyers, Tina Thorne and Julie Thorne. She was preceded in death by her mother, Loraine Thorne; brother, George Thorne and sister, Cathy Edwards.

Memorial services will be held at 4 p.m. on Friday, January 28, 2022 at Dunlap Memorial Home in Fort Atkinson. Visitation will be from 2 p.m. at the memorial home until time of service.
