No. 10 Warhawk Men Close Non-Conference Slate at 11-0

The No. 10 ranked University of Wisconsin-Whitewater men’s basketball team capped the 2018 calendar year and the non-conference portion of its season Saturday night with a 96-81 victory at Concordia Texas in the team’s second of two games in Austin, Texas.

Five players scored in double figures for the Warhawks (11-0 overall), who shot 50.8 percent from the floor, hit 15-of-25 from 3-point range and knocked down 19-of-24 at the free-throw line, including 17-of-19 in the second half.

UW-Whitewater begins Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference play Wednesday at 12th-ranked UW-Stevens Point. Tipoff is slated for 7 p.m. in Stevens Point.
