Neil Shuman, 97, peacefully passed away January 1st at Pacifica Assisted Living in Escondido California.

He enjoyed engaging in various activities such as singing, following the Packers and meeting new people. Neil attributed his longevity to clean living, exercise, and avoiding sweets.

Neil was born to Charles and Mehta Shuman literally at home on the farm and stayed close with many loving cousins.

Neil was a career military man, having proudly served in the Air Force at various locations around the US and Europe from 1945 to 1972.

He was preceded by the passing of his sisters Louise and Doris of Whitewater and Charles of Pasadena California.

Neil is survived by his brothers Robert of San Juan Capistrano and David of Detroit and numerous nieces and nephews to honor his memory as a kind and easy going gentleman.
