JV Swimmers Perform Well at Conference Meet

The Whippets had a strong showing at the JV Conference Meet on Tuesday night, highlighted by big time drops, podium finishes, and some great relay swims! The boys came ready to race and delivered across the board.

Cooper Housel, Ian Agen, Carson Miller, Angel Kilar
  • 200 Medley Relay – 2nd place (Housel / Miller / Agen / Kilar)
    • The group bettered their seeded time, with Carson Miller posting a strong 41.59 split in the 50 Breaststroke.
  • 200 Freestyle
    • Cooper Housel finished 4th, dropping 7 seconds off his previous best.
  • 50 Freestyle
    • Angel Kilar took 8th with a solid swim.
  • 100 Butterfly
    • Ian Agen placed 3rd, earning a spot on the podium.
  • 200 Freestyle Relay – 2nd place (Agen / Kilar / Miller / Housel)
    • The relay dropped 4 seconds off their seeded time, with Cooper Housel anchoring in 30.09.
  • 100 Breaststroke
    • Carson Miller finished 5th, knocking off another 3 seconds to post a new best time of 1:34.41.
  • 400 Freestyle Relay – 3rd place  (Housel / Agen / Kilar / Miller)
    • A huge swim for this group as they dropped 12 seconds off their seeded time. Cooper Housel led off in 1:10.47, dropping 6 seconds
    • Angel Kilar followed with a 1:15.13, dropping 4 seconds

Overall, it was a great night of racing with lots of medals coming home and strong momentum heading into the championship portion of the season.
