It’s time once again for #FlashbackFriday with the Whitewater Historical Society.
In the fall of 1993, the Land O’ Lakes company came to Whitewater to shoot promotional photos at our historic train depot. The advertising company doing the photo shoot came with an actor to portray the young man sitting on the suitcase, but after running into the late Rollie Cooper with his trademark overalls, they quickly enlisted him to appear in the photos. Rollie, you may remember, had a large garden on Walworth Street that he worked with a team of horses. He added an authentic touch to what was to be nostalgic images for the butter company.
Join us next week for more from the Whitewater Historical Society.
