Eric Runez previous WUSD Administrator completed his Ed.D. (Doctor of Education) degree program at Edgewood College, Madison.

Eric is the Superintendent for DeForest schools since July 2016. 

He was an administrator for the Whitewater Unified School District for 11 years. He served as middle school principal for six years, and his final five years in Whitewater as the District Administrator.

Eric was “hooded” in Dec 2017 at Monona Terrace by Tom Ganser.
