City of Whitewater Requests Shared-Ride Taxi Program Proposals

The City of Whitewater is looking for vendors interested in proposing to operate the Shared Ride Taxi Program.

The Shared-Ride Taxi program is a door-to-door, advance reservation taxi service made available to the general public. The service is typically available seven days a week with specific daily hours and is equipped to service-disabled individuals.

The city’s current Shared-Ride Taxi Program contract expires at the end of 2018. The new contract will run from January 1, 2019, through an initial two-year term with the potential of 3 one-year extensions.

Interested parties can provide their proposals and learn more at https://vendornet.wi.gov. Proposals must be submitted by 1 p.m. October 22, 2018, to be considered.
