Calling All Local Businesses to Promote Post High School Opportunities

Calling all local businesses! Would you like to raise awareness of careers our students could pursue after high school and promote your brand? Consider donating one or more t-shirts/shirts/sweatshirts to the high school.

The vision board includes photos of WHS students over the past two years engaging in opportunities to learn about careers and prepare for post-high school life. These opportunities include competitions, industry certifications, youth apprenticeships, and hands-on fieldtrips.

Our AVID site team is working to raise awareness of post-secondary options for our students through further education and workforce opportunities. To promote college and career readiness, staff will be asked to wear something that represents either a career or an educational option each Monday beginning October 26.

Shirts can be dropped off in the high school office or you can contact Mike Rick, WUSD Career and Technical Education Coordinator, at ricmi01@wwusd.org and he will make arrangements to pick them up at your place of business.
