




Dawn Hunter writes, “Ice Discs or Ice Pancakes: This rarely seen formation was spotted on the spillway near the Trippe Lake Park just before Christmas. These discs need the right air and water temperatures, plus the right amount of swirling water motion to form. Mother Nature’s holiday gift to the viewer.”
